Linda S. Hyers, R.N.
I was born in Western Kentucky and grew up in Livingston County.
My nurse training began at Mid-State College in Nashville and continued at the
University of Kentucky where I received my RN Degree. I worked at Vanderbilt
University Hospital in Nashville, Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, and Park West Hospital in
Knoxville.
While in Knoxville I was also the Associate Director of Nursing for Kimberly Quality
Care and Medical Personnel Pool before focusing on geriatric care at Weston Place
Assisted Living. After moving to Louisville, Kentucky I continued this focus as the
Interim Director of Nursing for Treyton Oak Towers and as Home Care Coordinator for
House call Home Health.
Using my geriatric nursing skills and knowledge of the special needs for our older
citizens I was the founder and owner of Helping Hands Companion Care. After selling
this company I founded Transitioning Services as a means of providing a broader range
of services to those who are facing the important decision of altering their life style.
Transitioning Services is the one business that offers knowledgeable guidance and
support by caring professionals through every phase of a life style change.
